My Approach to Transformation
When I work on a transformation, my goal is never to change who you are, but to bring out your best. I believe that makeup should feel breathable and look natural, which is why I prioritize skin analysis before picking up a single brush.
The Process:
- Skin Prep: Every look starts with understanding your skin type. Whether you are dealing with dry patches or need a sweat-proof base for a humid day, we start with the right CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routine.
- Color Correction: This is the secret to avoiding cakey makeup. By neutralizing discoloration and dark circles first, I can use less foundation while still achieving full coverage.
- The 'Real' Finish: I avoid heavy, filter-like finishes in favor of techniques that allow your natural skin texture to show through. This creates that radiant, glowing look that holds up beautifully in both natural daylight and indoor event lighting.
Why Technique Matters
Many of the brides I work with worry about their makeup shifting or fading by the end of the ceremony. Because I train other aspiring artists, I am deeply focused on the technical side of longevity—how to set a base that survives Bangalore's weather, how to secure traditional jewelry, and how to drape Kanjeevaram sarees so they stay perfect for hours.
