Makeup should not be a mask, but a way to reveal your natural glow. Here is a look at my process, from the first brushstroke to the final, radiant finish.

A step-by-step look at creating a modern reception look. This video shows the makeup application process, from base to eyes to lips, resulting in a stunning final transformation.

About The Art of Transformation

Whether I am working with airbrush for an evening reception or HD makeup for a traditional morning Muhurtham, my priority is ensuring the base holds up against Bangalore's weather and long ceremonies. You will not find 'caked-on' paint here. I focus on skin-like finishes, correcting dark circles with precision, and securing your jewelry so you stay comfortable from start to finish.

My Approach to Transformation

After two decades in the industry, I have learned that true makeup artistry is about confidence. Kelavaru madtare, tumba paint hachidange irutte (some people go overboard and it looks like a paint job). That is not my style. I want you to look in the mirror and see yourself, just the most polished, radiant version of you.

The Techniques Behind the Look

  • HD vs. Airbrush: For traditional weddings and daytime ceremonies, I often use HD makeup. It withstands the heat of the ceremonial fire (Homa) without melting. For evening receptions or stage events with heavy lighting, I prefer silicone-based airbrush techniques for a transfer-proof, porcelain finish that lasts up to 16 hours.
  • Skin Tone Correction: Finding the right tone is a non-negotiable part of my process. I specialize in matching foundations for all skin tones, with a particular focus on getting the shade right for dusky skin.
  • Beyond the Face: A complete bridal look involves more than just foundation. I handle the traditional South Indian 'Jada' (braid) styling, including stuffing for volume and fresh flower setting. I also specialize in box-folding Kanjivaram sarees so they stay secure for the entire event.

Why My Brides Feel Comfortable

My studio in Banashankari is where we start the process. Whether you need a soft-glam look for an engagement or a royal transformation for your wedding, we work together to get it right. My makeup is smudge-proof and water-resistant, which means you can laugh, hug, and dance without worrying about your look running or fading. I focus on the details that matter to you, so you can focus on the celebration.
