High-energy choreography meets urban flair. From the studio to the big stage at St. Andrews, this is where we bring the heat with our signature Bollyhop style.

About Manch Showcase: Modern & Bollyhop

When we prep for the stage, it is not just about nailing the routine. We spend weeks on line-cleaning, which means making sure that even when twenty people are moving at once, every hand, head, and hip movement is in perfect unison so the energy actually hits the back row of the audience.

Bollyhop is where we let the boundaries blur. It is that perfect mix of sharp, urban hip-hop grooves and the expression of Bollywood music. For my 'Manch' showcases, I love using this style because it is accessible, fun, and allows dancers of all levels to look like pros under the lights.

The Manch Approach to Performance

What you see in these images is the result of months of sweat, not just natural talent. My process starts with breaking down the song to find the 'hook'—that one moment the audience will remember. We focus heavily on:

  • Formations: Moving a large group without chaos requires strict spacing. We practice the geometry of the stage until it becomes muscle memory.
  • Camera & Stage Awareness: Whether you are performing for a crowd or a camera lens, knowing where to project your energy changes everything.
  • Confidence Building: I tell my students that if they commit to the movement, the audience will follow. We drill the steps until they don't have to think about them, so they can actually enjoy the performance.

We train in Bandra, but I bring this high-energy format to stages across Mumbai. If you are looking to create a performance that feels like a professional music video or a high-octane concert set, we work on getting the attitude, the timing, and the final look spot on.

After 25 years, I still get nervous before the curtain rises, but that is the magic of it. I love blending the urban, sharp moves of Bollyhop with the raw energy of my students. Whether it is for a concert or our annual Manch showcase, I am here to help you find your groove.
