About Grand Sangeet Productions
When choreographing for sangeets, my biggest focus is keeping it realistic for non-dancers. Instead of relying on complex footwork that takes months to master, we structure your routine around clean hand gestures, walking formations, and smooth pose transitions. This gives your performance a polished, synchronized look that reads perfectly on stage, even with just ten hours of rehearsal.

I believe a sangeet should feel like a story, not just a series of random songs played back-to-back. Whether you want a theatrical musical sequence that introduces the couple or a high-energy Bollywood mashup for the entire family, I work to craft performances that fill the stage.
The Process: From Concept to Stage
We start by understanding your vision—do you want drama, comedy, or something totally hatke (different)?
- Audio Mixing: We do not just use original tracks. We provide professional mixing of 2 to 3 tracks to ensure the flow of music matches the energy of your performance.
- Rehearsal Structure: My team and I handle the training over 10 hours, split into five sessions. These are led by a Senior Assistant, with me stepping in for the final polishing visits to ensure your formations and expressions are spot-on.
- Camera & Stage Awareness: If you are hiring a videographer, we optimize your blocking specifically for the camera, focusing on hook steps that look great in 16:9 or 9:16 frames for your social media highlights.
Why It Works for Families
My approach is designed for groups of 6 to 20 people who may have zero professional dance experience. We focus on the 'jhakhas' factor—confidence, timing, and stage presence. By removing the pressure of technical perfection and replacing it with storytelling and clear formations, we ensure you have fun while you perform.
Whether we are working at a ballroom in Mumbai or travelling for a destination event, my goal is to give you a performance that looks professional but feels personal and lived-in.
