About Religious & Cultural Ceremony Decoration
Sacred Moments, Local Touch
I’m Urmi, and I put my heart into decorating religious and cultural ceremonies for families in Vasai, Virar, Nallasopara, Naigaon, and Palghar. I know how important these moments are, so I try to make every setup feel personal and true to your traditions.
Hindu Ceremonies
- For Munj (Janoi), I usually go for a Gurukul theme decor - think thatched roofs, wooden walls, and earthy colors. You’ll see props like Kamadhenu, Guru cutouts, and old lanterns.
- Godh Bharai and baby naming events get lots of marigold flower strings decoration, with symbols like Om, Ganesha, or even baby footprints. Sometimes we mix brass lamps with modern swings and sofas.
- Satyanarayan pooja setups are simple - drapes, flower strings, decorated stools, and soft lighting. Nothing too flashy, just peaceful.
Christian & Catholic Celebrations
- First Holy Communion setups are all about personalized communion backdrops. I use arched panels, gold frames, and sequin walls. Names on the backdrop, pastel or gold-white colors, and fancy seating for the child.
- Baptism and naming ceremonies can be rustic boho baptism setup with pampas grass, or playful with balloons and angel motifs. I always add the baby’s name somewhere.
My Way of Working
I keep it simple. Jaisa kaam waisa daam (you get what you pay for). If you show me a reference or share your idea, I’ll tell you straight up what’s possible. I don’t overpromise, and I’m honest about what I can deliver. Quality matters to me, but I won’t pretend everything is perfect - sometimes things take time, sometimes flowers wilt, but I’ll always try my best.
