What We Play
We switch things up based on the crowd and mood:
- Bollywood fusion band sets with hits and mashups for dance parties
- Folk fusion performance: blending Bengali folk with modern sound, especially for cultural nights
- Full rock & contemporary: guitars, drums, bass - we’ll get the place buzzing if you want
- Acoustic event music: softer sets with tabla, guitar, keys for chill, small gatherings
Custom Band Setup
No standard packages here. We shape the band’s size and vibe for you:
- Big ensembles for festivals, weddings, or corporate party live band gigs
- Small trios/quartets for close-knit dinners or intimate music night vibes
- Fusion groups with violin, tabla, or other instruments if you’re feeling experimental
Where We’ve Played
We’ve done everything from massive Durgotsav festivals in Bangalore to cozy living room concerts. Some venues are fancy, some are not, but we always care about making it special for the people there. Music is what we love, stage or no stage.

My Story
We’re Urban Raga, and honestly, it’s all about the music, mixing old school with new vibes. Our classrooms? Full of energy, whether it’s Diwali jam sessions or a nervous kid smashing their first tabla beat. The teachers here, like Bidyut and Rupkotha, they’re performers first—so you’ll learn real stuff, not just textbook notes. Watching our students grow, perform at Music Manthan, ace ABRSM exams—man, that’s what keeps us going.
