Commercial Restaurant & Lounge Interior Design

We transform business spaces into narrative-driven environments. From concept to site execution, we build restaurants and lounges that merge thematic storytelling with functional commercial efficiency.

For our "Papyrus" project in Kolkata, we blended art and architecture to tell a story. The centerpiece is a vibrant mural inspired by Egyptian cuisine, with each color and stroke carefully chosen to complement the architectural elements of the restaurant.

The entrance to our Egyptian-themed restaurant, Papyrus, features a metal-framed wooden door with cast iron axe handles. This piece is more than a door; it's a portal designed to spark curiosity and set the stage for the cultural narrative inside.

I explain my personal preference for commercial projects, using the example of the Papyrus restaurant. The collaborative process with the client, who shared my obsession with Cleopatra, allowed us to create a deeply themed and engaging space.

In our Papyrus project, we celebrated natural materials. The space features an interplay of Lasa Bianca and Moroccan tiles, earthy orange peel wall textures, and cane lights to create a dynamic and inviting atmosphere rooted in craftsmanship.

This is the vibe we create for commercial spaces. A look inside the Papyrus restaurant, showcasing the blend of custom art, unique textures, and thematic decor that makes the dining experience memorable.

A closer look at the details that define the Papyrus restaurant's vibe, from the custom-carved bamboo pillars to the intricate cane lighting and sculptural art pieces.

About this collection

Commercial design requires more than just visual appeal; it requires an operational strategy. We approach your project by mapping customer movement and service efficiency first, utilizing detailed axonometric drawings to ensure your bar, kitchen, and seating layouts function as seamlessly as they look.

Great commercial architecture does not just occupy space; it dictates the experience. Whether we are designing a restaurant or a lounge, our process begins with a core narrative. For our 'Papyrus' project in Kolkata, this meant translating an Egyptian concept into physical reality through textures, custom-carved bamboo pillars, and specific lighting schemes.

We prioritize functionality in high-traffic environments. We frequently work with parametric ceilings to conceal essential service lines, turning structural necessities into visual art. This approach ensures your space is beautiful without sacrificing ease of maintenance.

Our service includes:

  • Thematic Conceptualization: We build a brand story that drives the design, from color palettes to furniture selection.
  • Technical Planning: We produce detailed GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and axonometric views so your contractors understand the technical vision perfectly.
  • Operational Zoning: We plan floor layouts to maximize seating capacity while ensuring staff can move efficiently during peak hours.
  • Material Selection: We specify commercial-grade finishes—patterned tiles, heavy-duty laminates, and durable upholsteries—that handle high wear and tear while maintaining a premium aesthetic.

We design for the long term. By focusing on timeless elements rather than fleeting trends, we help you create a destination that remains relevant and vibrant for years to come.
