Commercial & Hospitality Interior Design
I create professional environments where functionality meets brand identity. Whether it's a restaurant or an office, my focus is on durable, low-maintenance design that leaves a lasting impression on your clients.
POV: Designing a space so dreamy you don't want to leave. This is a look at a restaurant interior I designed, featuring custom curved banquette seating, soft lighting, and a calming, neutral color palette.
For this open-concept office, the client wanted the option for privacy. I used smart glass film, which can switch from clear to opaque with the flick of a button, providing a flexible and modern solution for meeting rooms.
ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) is one of the best materials for exterior building cladding. It's durable, lightweight, versatile, and cost-effective, making it a great alternative to high-maintenance paint finishes.
ACP sheets are incredibly versatile. Here you can see them being used for a building facade, but they can also be used for interior walls, partitions, ceilings, and even furniture for a modern look.
About Commercial & Hospitality Design
In commercial projects, the choice of materials is the biggest differentiator. For instance, instead of standard wall paint that scuffs and requires frequent repainting, I often recommend using Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) or high-grade laminates. These materials are easier to clean, more durable in high-traffic areas, and keep your maintenance costs down in the long run.
Designing for High Traffic
Commercial and hospitality spaces face wear and tear that residential homes rarely do. My approach balances high-impact visuals with high-utility choices. For offices, this often means creating adaptable spaces. For example, I frequently utilize smart glass films for meeting rooms. This allows you to toggle between opaque for private discussions and transparent for an open, collaborative office feel with a single switch.
Material Longevity
If you run a restaurant or a retail shop, your walls and surfaces are constantly exposed to crowds. I avoid materials that look great on day one but require professional retouching by day thirty. My go-to is ACP for exteriors and heavy-duty laminates for interior cabinetry. They offer a clean, modern finish that stands up to daily cleaning agents and significant foot traffic.
Creating Atmosphere
In hospitality, the environment dictates the customer's stay. I focus on elements like banquette seating that maximizes floor space without feeling cramped, and lighting plans that emphasize comfort over sterile brightness. Whether you need a full gut-renovation for a startup office or a strategic refresh for an existing restaurant, I look at how the space flows so your staff can operate efficiently and your customers feel at ease.
