About Match & Tournament Experience
We don't play for scouts or trophies here. In our Mehrauli matches, we focus on 5v5 and 7v7 formats that force you to communicate and make quick decisions, unlike larger, crowded fields. Whether it’s a friendly or a mini-tournament, the goal is always to get every kid maximum ball contact time on natural ground, which builds the ankle strength and touch you just can't get on synthetic turf.
Football isn't just theory. You can run drills all week, but the real test is in a match. We host regular friendly games and the Uncaged Cup because that's where the 'Love, Peace, Respect' mantra really gets tested. When the pressure is on, do you stay calm? Do you support your teammate? That’s what we look for.
We train on natural, uneven ground in Mehrauli. It’s not a polished turf, and that’s intentional. It forces players to adjust their touch and build better coordination. Our match format is simple, we mix different skill levels to foster mentorship, ensuring the older or more experienced kids help the younger ones understand the game's flow.
How we approach match day
- Development over results: We play to learn. A loss is just a lesson on what to improve for the next session.
- Inclusive Play: Every player gets time on the field. We avoid benching kids because we know the only way to get better is to play.
- Natural Environment: Training and playing on real soil grounds helps players learn to read the ball's bounce and develop physical resilience.
Commonly Asked Questions
- Do kids play in competitive leagues? We participate in local friendlies and host our own tournaments, but we keep the focus on development rather than just winning medals.
- What if I’m a beginner? Everyone starts somewhere. Matches are structured so beginners get time on the ball without the pressure of needing to score every time.
- Where do we play? All our match sessions are held at our designated spots in Mehrauli.
