When I am not behind the console at a club, I am usually deep in the studio, often escaping to the hills to craft the 'Bollyafro' sound that defines my sets. My process is about more than just matching beats; it is about taking those classic Bollywood and Punjabi tracks and flipping them with Afro-House rhythms so you get something fresh. It is the difference between a standard night out and a proper TwistedBass experience.
My journey as a producer is about staying on the pulse of the scene. You might have seen me in the studio, working on tracks with artists like Vinit Dave, or catching up with legends like Tesher. These moments are vital because they push me to innovate and keep the 'TWIST' in TwistedBass.
Every time I prepare for a set, whether it is a corporate gala or a wild house party, I am thinking about how to build the energy. I use industry-standard gear like the Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus 2 because, at the end of the day, audio quality is non-negotiable. If you hear a remix of a 'Sahiba' or a 'Chammak Challo' mashup, know that it has been lab-tested for the dance floor.
