From fierce egret battles to the quiet grace of a shorebird, this gallery reflects the diverse moments I have captured in nature. It is a collection of the unexpected beauty found when you simply stop and observe.

Territory, ego, and elegance. This video captures the raw and dramatic moment of a territorial dispute between two Great Egrets, a beautiful yet fierce battle.

When Mumbai paused, the sky spoke. This video shows a massive murmuration of birds against the orange sky, a truly breathtaking and unexpected urban wildlife event.

This bird isn't trending, but it should be. The Red Avadavat, or Strawberry Finch, is a tiny, vibrant bird that looks like a strawberry with wings.

A small bird perches on a blade of grass, almost lost in the vast, wild grasslands of Navi Mumbai. A testament to the hidden beauty beyond the concrete.

A bird peeks out from a dense bush, its form blurred by the surrounding foliage. This image captures the challenge and reward of finding wildlife in the urban jungle.

A Red-breasted Flycatcher sits on a branch, its warm colors contrasting with the dark, moody background. A beautiful find in the hidden corners of Navi Mumbai.

For anyone who thinks there's no wildlife in Navi Mumbai, this video is for you. Here is a glimpse of the thriving nature that exists right beside the city.

A small bird sits on a rock in a field of purple flowers under a clear blue sky. The colors and composition create a serene and picturesque scene from Maharashtra.

Another perspective of the bird in the purple flower field, showing the beauty of the landscape and its tiny inhabitant.

A cormorant spreads its wings to dry in the morning sun, its form creating a powerful shape against the golden water. A celebration of urban wildlife.

About Additional Work

Many of these shots, from the Red Avadavat to the egret territorial disputes, were captured right here in the Navi Mumbai wetlands. The trick to getting these frames is usually tide analysis; knowing exactly when the water recedes allows the birds to move closer to the shore, giving you that eye-level perspective that makes a photo feel intimate rather than distant.
