Mom & Daughter: Single Saree Smart Conversion
Base Material
- Fabric: Sourcing of one semi-silk or Art Silk saree with a broad Zari border (approx. 5.5 to 6 meters).
- Lining: Breathable cotton lining for bodices and crepe/satin lining for skirt fall.
Mother's Outfit
- Style: Half Saree (Langa Davani) or Crop Top Skirt.
- Construction: Box pleated or umbrella cut skirt with border placement.
- Volume: Includes a layer of medium-volume Can-Can (hard net).
- Blouse: Princess cut non-padded blouse with elbow-length sleeves and simple piping.
- Dupatta: Contrast net or chiffon dhavani with minimal border trimming (if Half-Saree style).
Daughter's Outfit (Up to 6 Years)
- Style: Traditional Pattu Pavadai (Langa Blouse).
- Blouse: Peplum or tucked-in style with signature Puff Sleeves.
- Skirt: Elasticated waist with adjustable drawstring (Nada) using remaining saree border.
Finishing

How It Works
Finding fabrics and a good tailor can be a headache, but tension maadkobedi (don’t worry), I’ve got you. Choose from our own collection of pure silks and festive materials, or bring your ideas - we’ll make it nimge bekagiro thara (just how you want it). Traditional South Indian, modern twist, mix-and-match - you decide.

Festival times get super busy at our place. If you want that special outfit ready in time, order at least 6 days ahead. I try to reply fast, but your patience is gold!

My Story
Namaste! I’m the soul behind Trendsboutique, started in Malleshwaram, Bangalore. Fashion trauma? Oh, I get it – saree hunting, blouse drama, all of it! We make handcrafted outfits, from grand bridal lehengas to cute langas for your puttaani lakshmi (little goddess). Our new Yuvarani Design Studio is open too, for even more unique creations. Nothing beats seeing you smile in something we made. Client happiness – that’s our real reward.
