About Classic Wrapped & Posed Portraits
Swaddling is more than a way to keep a baby calm, it is an art form that creates a deep sense of security, allowing me to capture those delicate, curled-up poses you see here. Since I prioritize newborn safety and hygiene above all else, every wrap, bonnet, and blanket used in my sessions is freshly laundered, and I use gentle, non-restrictive techniques to ensure your little one stays comfortable and peaceful throughout our time together.
Capturing the First Few Days
Those first few weeks pass incredibly fast. I usually recommend scheduling your newborn photoshoot between 5 and 25 days after birth. During this window, babies are sleepier and more flexible, which allows for those classic, curled-up poses that highlight just how tiny they are. Whether you prefer a minimalist look or something with a bit more texture, the goal is always to keep your baby as the center of the frame.
My Approach to Safety
As a certified baby photographer, your child's well-being is my non-negotiable priority. Every prop, from vintage baskets to iron tubs, is cleaned and sanitized before use. I rely on natural light in my Kalyan Nagar studio to create soft, flattering images, though I can also bring my entire setup to your home if you prefer the comfort of your own space.
What Goes Into a Session
My sessions are designed to be low-stress. We move at your baby's pace, taking time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes as needed. Whether we are using earthy, neutral tones for a rustic feel or a splash of color for a creative setup, I handle the posing to ensure the baby is supported and cozy. If you have a specific theme in mind, like a floral setup or a coffee-inspired look, just let me know a couple of weeks in advance so I can have the right wraps and props ready.
