About Behind the Magic
Getting the perfect shot is rarely about just hitting a button. Before I start, I spend time setting up the lighting, adjusting food textures with tweezers, and building the scene to ensure steam or condensation looks fresh for the lens. Whether we are shooting a messy chocolate cake or a crisp pour-over coffee, the magic happens in those small, intentional adjustments made while the camera is still on the tripod.
People often think a great food photo happens in a second. In reality, it takes hours of tweaking. When I am on-site in Mumbai or Bangalore, I come prepared with more than just a camera. I bring a kit of precision tools like tweezers, heat guns, and misters to manipulate food textures in real-time so your product looks its best.
My approach depends on the mood we want to set for your brand. For a standard shoot, I use your existing crockery to style 8-12 dishes in an 8-hour shift, focusing on plating and angles that make your menu pop. If we go for a premium setup, I handle the full art direction: we build a mood board, layer fabrics, and select specific props—like brassware or rustic textiles—that tell your brand’s unique story.
Why does this matter? Your customers eat with their eyes first. A coffee shot with fake-looking steam or a dessert that loses its structural integrity under studio lights will not convert. My goal is to keep your food looking hot, fresh, or frozen for as long as we need, ensuring the visuals you get are exactly what your audience wants to see. Whether it is a festive campaign or evergreen menu photography, I am there to manage the hustle so you can focus on the business.

Photography is my therapy, and honestly, the chaos of a shoot is where I feel most at home. I treat every plate like a story, making sure the texture and lighting are just right before I hit the shutter. It is never just a photo to me, it is a moment I want your customers to feel.
