My Featured Food Styling & Photography Work
A glimpse into my world of food storytelling—where the aroma of fresh coffee meets the warmth of festive sweets. These are the visuals that define my passion for making food look as real as it tastes.
This is where my love for coffee and dessert comes together. We styled and shot this delicious Pistachio Affogato, focusing on the creamy texture and the satisfying crunch of the nuts. It’s a simple treat, but we made sure every detail, from the drip to the garnish, tells a story of indulgence.
For me, a perfect morning involves a flaky croissant and a warm cup of coffee. We designed this shot for a bakery brand to feel bright, airy, and utterly delicious. The goal was to capture that ideal breakfast moment you want to recreate, focusing on the golden crust and the fresh almonds.
My love for coffee goes beyond the cup. This video is from a very special trip to the Balanoor Plantations, capturing the entire coffee harvesting journey. From the vibrant red cherries to the final pour, this is a story of the hard work and passion that goes into every single bean.
Eid is a celebration of sweetness and togetherness, and Sheer Kurma is at the heart of it. I styled this shot to feel rich, traditional, and full of warmth. The brass and silver utensils, combined with the moody lighting, create a sense of timeless festive joy.
We wanted to capture the feeling of Christmas in a cup with this Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha. This recipe video was designed to be cozy and festive, showing how a few simple ingredients can create a truly special holiday drink. The bokeh lights and festive props help set the perfect mood.
This shot was part of an art direction project for a coffee brand launching their new machine and pods. The goal was to create a sleek, modern, and aspirational lifestyle scene. We carefully selected props and colors to match the brand's elegant identity and make the product the hero.
Here’s a little peek behind the curtain! Creating that perfect coffee splash shot takes a lot of trial and error, but it's so much fun. This video shows the energy and process behind our dynamic beverage photography, capturing a split-second moment of delicious chaos.
This is from a menu photography project for an Arabian kitchen, Cafe Zubaan. We created a top-down shot to display the vibrant colors and textures of their mezze platter and kebabs. The styling aims to look like a beautiful, abundant feast you can't wait to share.
About Featured
Getting the shot you see here isn't just about the camera; it's about the hours of prep before the shutter clicks. Whether I'm adjusting condensation on a glass or styling a mezze platter, the goal is to make the food look as real as it tastes. I work with what your kitchen has—using your existing crockery and daily ingredients—to build a frame that feels authentic and appetizing, not overly staged.
My approach is simple: I capture the soul of the dish.
My Styling Philosophy
I believe the best images happen when we stop trying to make food look 'perfect' and start making it look edible. Whether it's a messy chocolate cake or a steaming cup of espresso, I focus on texture—the flaky croissant crust, the drip of the affogato, or the steam from a fresh brew.
How We Work Together
I offer two main ways to collaborate for your cafe, restaurant, or food brand:
-
Standard On-Site Execution: This is ideal if you want a practical refresh of your current menu visuals. I come to your location in Mumbai or Bangalore, using your existing props and crockery to style 8-12 dishes in a single 8-hour shift. It’s hands-on and gets the job done without overcomplicating your inventory.
-
Full Art Direction: For brands launching a new campaign or product, this is where we dive deeper. We start with mood boarding and shot lists, and I bring in specific props—think brassware, rustic textiles, and high-quality backdrops—to create a specific vibe.
Behind the Scenes (BTS)
It isn't always glamorous—it’s mostly hustle. My kit includes the essentials for the 'magic': precision tweezers for placement, glycerin for that perfect dew-drop condensation, and heat guns to keep textures looking fresh for the lens. I’ve learned that the best shots come from understanding the ingredient, not just the angle.
Whether you need a social media campaign that stops the scroll or evergreen menu photography, chalo, shuru karein? (Let’s get started). Let’s make visuals that aren't just pretty, but truly hungry-making.

I’m the soul behind The Wicked Soul. I don't just photograph food; I try to capture the comfort, the steam, and the story behind every bite. I work closely with cafes and brands in Mumbai and Bangalore to turn menu items into visuals that actually make people hungry.
