The mandap is where your promises are made. We design these sacred spaces to reflect your story, whether it is a temple-inspired structure or a serene beachfront setup.

A video tour of the 'Lal Bagh' wedding ceremony, a bespoke architectural marvel we built on an open lawn in Kochi. Inspired by the grandeur of Indian temples, the entire space was immersed in shades of red, from the floral installations to the mounds of sindoor.

A wide view of the 'Lal Bagh' mandap, showing the scale of the temple-inspired design. The massive, handcrafted shola flower chandelier creates a central focal point, drawing the eye and adding to the grandeur of the ceremony.

The Jaimala moment, where the couple is showered with petals inside the breathtaking 'Lal Bagh' setting. This is the culmination of months of planning, resulting in a moment of pure, unscripted joy.

The bride and groom share a quiet moment during their 'Lal Bagh' ceremony. The intricate backdrop, filled with traditional motifs and rich red tones, creates a warm and intimate setting for their vows.

A closer look at the ceiling of the 'Lal Bagh' mandap, where thousands of hand-painted shola flowers were strung with mauli threads and tiny bells, creating a cascading floral symphony.

Mounds of sindoor and beds of red and orange flowers created a landscape of vibrant color, reinforcing the 'Lal Bagh' theme of abundance and auspicious beginnings.

Traditional brass diyas and urlis filled with flowers and sindoor were placed throughout the 'Lal Bagh' venue, their warm glow adding to the sacred, temple-like ambiance.

About this collection

I don't just decorate a platform and call it a mandap. We build architecture. Whether it is repurposing a city square or bringing in artisans from West Bengal to hand-paint shola flowers, every structure is designed to hold the weight of your promises. It is about creating a space where the ceremony feels intimate, even if the guest list is huge.

A mandap is more than just a backdrop for photographs. It is the heart of your wedding day, the ground where rituals happen and the future begins. Because we view this space as an architectural project rather than a decor task, we focus on stability, acoustics, and the emotional flow of the ceremony.

We often look to traditional Indian temple architecture for inspiration. In projects like 'Lal Bagh,' we utilized rich red tones, brass bells, and mounds of sindoor to create an immersive, spiritual environment. For these designs, we rely on artisans who hand-paint shola flowers and use mauli thread to ensure every detail feels authentic and grounded in tradition.

We are equally comfortable in modern or destination settings. Whether we are building a structure on a beach in Vietnam or a courtyard in Jaisalmer, the priority is how the space interacts with the natural surroundings. We consider the sunset, the wind, and the lighting requirements so the transition from daylight to evening doesn't disrupt the solemnity of the vows.

Our approach is to keep the clutter away and let the elements speak. We avoid props that distract from the bride and groom. Instead, we use lighting—golden candle glows or subtle architectural uplighting—to frame the couple, ensuring that the focus remains entirely on them throughout the ceremony. If you have a specific vision, or even just a feeling you want to capture, we start with a blank page and build it from the ground up.

I still start every design on a piece of paper with a pencil. To me, a mandap isn't just fabric and flowers, it is the center of your wedding. I love creating something that feels solid, grounded, and deeply personal to the two of you.
