We believe Haldi and Mehendi functions should be the happiest moments of your wedding. We focus on vibrant, sun-drenched settings and meaningful traditions, keeping the energy high and the mood relaxed for everyone involved.

About this collection
Instead of using generic themes, we analyze the venue's architecture and work with it. Whether it is an ancestral home in Delhi or a resort in Vietnam, we design around what is already there rather than hiding it. Expect us to use local blooms like marigolds or pomegranates in ways that feel fresh, not like a standard template you have seen everywhere else.
For us, a Haldi or Mehendi function is about capturing a genuine feeling. We start with the basics, paper and pencil, to map out how guests will flow through the space. Our approach is simple: if the venue has character, let it shine. We have worked in heritage courtyards where we used existing stone walls as our backdrop, and in sleek modern resorts where we brought in soft, tropical touches to warm up the space.
We avoid clutters of artificial props. Instead, we lean into what is real. You will see us using heaps of fresh marigolds, local fruits, or textiles that reflect the culture of the location. If the venue is outdoors, we prioritize natural light and shade structures that keep guests comfortable without feeling boxed in.
Planning these events is often where we have the most fun because the rules are fewer. We experiment with color palettes that go beyond the typical yellow and orange, mixing in hot pinks, limes, and deep purples to keep things dynamic. We also focus on the practical side of things. We ensure there is enough seating for the older family members, that the food counters are accessible, and that the lighting transitions smoothly from a bright afternoon into a mellow, candlelit evening. It is about creating a space where people actually want to linger, not just pose for a photo and leave.
The Wedding Design Company
I have been doing this for 36 years, and I still reach for my paper and pencil the moment an idea strikes. We believe weddings should feel generous, with plenty of heart and soul, but we are also ruthless about efficiency—no long, boring ceremonies here. We create experiences that are visually stunning but, more importantly, genuinely comfortable for your guests.
