Wedding Design Process: From Concept to Reality
We don't just plan weddings; we build them. Here is a look at the journey from your first idea to the final, finished space.
Ideas into form. This image shows the journey of our beachfront mandap, from the initial 3D render to the final breathtaking reality. 3D visualization allows our clients to see everything before the big day, ensuring no surprises.
The moodboard for our 'Vietnam meets India' beachfront wedding. We started with a feeling: coastal pastels, handcrafted textures, and a fusion of Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian craft techniques. This board guided every design decision.
A video showing the behind-the-scenes madness of creating a floral mandap at Suryagarh. With only a few hours and the desert sun beating down, our team worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life in full bloom.
Come rain or shine, the show must go on! This video captures the moment we had to race against time to move an entire outdoor Haldi celebration indoors due to unexpected rain. It was chaotic, but the end result was just as joyful.
A behind-the-scenes video of our team setting up the multi-phase Sangeet. From rigging lights to arranging florals and installing massive structures, this is a glimpse into the labor of love that goes into each event.
A video showing the meticulous process of creating the floral mosaic wall for the Jaimala ceremony. Each flower is placed by hand to create the intricate, traditional pattern.
Work in progress for the 'Shaam Sufiana'. This video shows our team on the ground, assembling the decor elements, from large structural pieces to the small, delicate lanterns that defined the event's atmosphere.
About this collection
I start every design with a simple pencil and paper, but before we ever break ground, I create detailed 3D renders for you. This means you see exactly how the lighting, seating, and floral installations will sit in your venue long before the guests arrive. It takes the guesswork out of the process, ensuring what you see on the screen is exactly what we deliver on the ground.
People often see the finished product—the flowers in full bloom or the perfect stage lighting—but the real work happens in the 12 to 24 hours we have to transform a space. Over the past 36 years, I have learned that the only way to manage the chaos of a live event is to have a rigid, technical plan. Whether we are dealing with a sudden monsoon in a tropical location or building a mandap from the ground up in a desert, my team of 300-plus artisans and supervisors follows a process that leaves nothing to chance.
We focus on the structural reality of your venue. If we are setting up in a palace, we work with the existing architecture. If we are in an open field, we build the hangars and flooring ourselves. This allows us to control the environment, including the lighting and sound, so your guests experience a seamless event rather than a construction site. My team handles everything from cold chain logistics for imported flowers to the complex rigging needed for ceiling installations. We prioritize substance over just aesthetics because a wedding has to function well, not just look beautiful.
