A Day in My World: Cage-Free Living and Natural Training
Welcome to my home. This is where my Brat Pack and I live, learn, and grow together, showing you what happens when we let dogs just be dogs.
This is my circle of love. In our cage-free home, dogs aren't just visitors, they are family. This is what true trust and calm looks like, with everyone finding their own space to relax together.
Our morning walks, or "sniffaris," are essential for a dog's wellbeing. I use long leashes to give them the freedom to explore the world through their nose, which calms their mind and sets a positive tone for the entire day.
This is Alexander, a senior beagle who spent over eight years in a lab. I specialize in helping rescue dogs with traumatic pasts, providing gentle care for issues like his spondylosis and showing them what it means to be loved and comfortable.
Healthy play is a fantastic way to burn energy. Here, Caesar the GSD and Bruno the beagle engage in a game of chase, learning about speed and boundaries in a safe, supervised outdoor space.
This happy smile says it all. My goal is to create an environment where every dog feels safe, understood, and joyful, allowing their true personality to shine through.
Chewing is a powerful tool for stress relief. I provide natural, dehydrated shin strips that serve as a healthy enrichment activity, helping dogs to calm down and satisfying their instinct to chew.
Proper puppy socialization starts early. I work with young pups, getting them used to gentle human touch and the basics of pack life, giving them a confident and happy start before they go to their forever homes.
A relaxed pair of German Shepherds enjoying a quiet moment in the house. I work with all breeds, helping them feel comfortable and integrated within our mixed pack.
About Featured
We do not do kennels or cages here. My home is a shared space where your dog joins my Brat Pack, learning social boundaries from my resident dogs and building confidence through choice-based activities, whether it is a morning sniffari or a quiet afternoon nap on the terrace.
When I say I am a Kahu, I mean it—I am their protector, not their owner. My place in Tharabanahalli is not a facility, it is a home where dogs get to be dogs. We skip the strict, intimidating training routines for something organic because I believe dogs learn best from other dogs.
Why this matters for your pup:
-
Natural Socialization: Pups pick up on social cues faster from my Brat Pack than they ever could from me. They learn bite inhibition, how to greet, and how to set their own boundaries naturally.
-
The Sniffari Advantage: We do not do boring loops around the block. We head out for long-leash walks on village trails. Sniffing is how a dog reads the news and decompresses—it is vital for a calm mind and sets the tone for the whole day.
-
Whole-Dog Approach: Whether it is nutrition via raw feeding or stress relief through natural chews, I look at the whole picture. If your dog is struggling with past trauma or just needs a place to hang while you are away, they will be treated like family here, not just another guest in a cage.
