Our Story: How The Treasure Trove Library Came to Be
It all started in my living room with just 400 books and a handful of toys back in 2010. Today, that small dream has grown into a buzzing community, and I am grateful for every reader who joined us along the way.

From a Small Flat to a Community Hub
I’m an engineer by degree, but books have always been my real passion. In 2010, The Treasure Trove Library began in my own apartment in Gurgaon. It was a humble start with only 400 books, but as more families discovered us, the collection—and the love—just kept growing. Like they say, log saath aate gaye aur karwaan banta gaya (people kept joining, and the caravan grew).
Why We Do What We Do
Today, we house over 25,000 books and 2,000 toys. This isn't just about borrowing; it's about making reading accessible and fun.
- For the Kids: We have everything from colorful picture books for toddlers to chapter series like Dragon Masters and Heidi Heckelbeck for young readers.
- For the Teens: Our Young Adult section is constantly updated with gripping titles like Skullduggery Pleasant and Almond.
- For the Adults: Your membership includes our adult collection, ranging from timeless classics and award-winning literature like Tamas to non-fiction.
