I do not just wrap the saree. For party or reception looks, I assess your blouse design and jewelry before deciding on the pallu style to ensure everything looks balanced. Whether it is a traditional Gujarati drape or a modern double-pallu, I work with 'romba porumaiya' (patience) to ensure every pleat is secure so you can move, dance, and enjoy without needing to adjust your saree all night.
Getting ready for an event should be a time to relax, not a source of stress. When I come to your home or hotel in Mumbai, my goal is to handle the technical details so you can focus on the occasion. I have experience with a wide range of styles, from the structured pleats of a Maharashtrian Nauvari or a Gujarati drape to the intricate layering of a South Indian fusion look.
If you have a heavy silk or stiff fabric that usually feels bulky, I use specific pinning and contouring techniques to make it sit flatter against your body, giving you a slimmer, more elegant silhouette. I am also happy to coordinate with your makeup artist and hairstylist to make sure the pallu placement works with your overall look.
