A strong game starts with a strong body. Build your speed, stamina, and core strength specifically for table tennis—no fluff, just results.

Agility is crucial in table tennis. I incorporate the top 10 agility exercises into our training to improve speed, balance, and footwork.

Leg day is serious business here. We work on leg strength and conditioning with exercises like step-ups to build the power needed for explosive movements.

You have to push yourself. This plank variation builds core and upper body strength, which is essential for maintaining a stable stance during long rallies.

We finish our table tennis training with strength work like elevated pushups. A strong body supports a strong game.

Core training is a constant focus. These exercises build the stability needed to transfer power from your legs to your arms for powerful shots.

Skipping is a fundamental part of our warm-up. It improves footwork, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance.

Training never stops. We incorporate skipping and stretching into every session to ensure players are warmed up and flexible.

Group stretching and warm-ups are key to preventing injuries and preparing the body for an intense session.

Footwork drills are a daily routine. Quick feet and agility are what separate good players from great ones.

Outdoor agility drills to build stamina and explosive speed. We take training beyond the table.

About Fitness, Agility & Conditioning

Generic gym work won't help your table tennis game. My Monday footwork drills and Wednesday multiball sessions are specifically built to fix your stance, boost your lateral speed, and keep your strokes consistent—even when you're tired in the fifth set of a match.

Conditioning for the Table

Many players think table tennis is just about the wrist and the paddle. They are wrong. If your legs aren't fast, you are always late to the ball. If your core isn't stable, your strokes lose power. At The Reflex Arc, I treat fitness as a non-negotiable part of technical training. You don't just lift weights; you move, you react, and you build the explosive stamina required for competitive play.

How We Train

We train at the Bhoir Sports Complex in New Panvel, where the environment is built for serious athletes. My sessions focus on:

  • Footwork & Agility: Mondays are dedicated to movement. We use ladder drills and court-wide patterns to ensure your feet are never stuck. You learn to cover the table with maximum efficiency.
  • Core & Stability: A strong core allows you to transfer power from your legs into your forehand loop. We use planks, medicine ball work, and functional rotations to make that transfer seamless.
  • Stamina & Recovery: Table tennis matches are exhausting. We incorporate interval training, skipping, and specific stretching routines to ensure you can maintain your intensity from the first point to the last.

Why Specificity Matters

I have seen too many players waste time on exercises that don't translate to the table. Whether you are a junior preparing for a district tournament or an adult looking to play faster, my program in Navi Mumbai is designed to make your physical training match your on-table goals. We don't guess—we prepare for match-play reality.
