About Elegant & Traditional Portraits
Traditional portraits do not have to feel stiff or staged. I work with you to find poses that feel natural while highlighting the details of your saree or sherwani, making sure the focus stays on your genuine chemistry rather than just the outfit.
Traditional portraiture often gets a bad reputation for being overly formal. I like to flip that script. Whether you are wearing a heritage silk saree, a heavy lehenga, or a sharp sherwani, the goal remains the same: capturing who you are as a couple.
I pay close attention to the way light falls on rich fabrics and textures. If we are shooting indoors, I use soft light to enhance those details. Outdoors, I look for natural frames that let your attire shine without looking like a product catalog.
A key part of my process is the consultation. Before the shoot, we discuss your outfits so I can suggest locations and color palettes that complement your look rather than clashing with it. We keep the posing loose. I might ask you to share a secret, take a walk, or just stand close to each other. Those small, unscripted moments are where the real elegance comes through.
