About The Couple's Journey
For the best couple portraits, we recommend scheduling your session between the 28th and 32nd week of pregnancy. At this stage, your bump is clearly defined, and you are usually still comfortable enough for a 60-minute studio session. If you choose our outdoor packages, we plan these for early mornings to avoid the heat in Bhubaneswar and ensure you stay comfortable throughout the shoot.
Our Approach to Couple Portraits
When we photograph couples, we look for the small, honest interactions—the way you hold each other, a shared glance, or the gentle touch of a hand on the baby bump. Our goal isn't just to pose you, but to create a comfortable space where you can be yourselves. Whether you prefer a dramatic studio aesthetic or the natural, airy vibe of an outdoor location, we guide you through the process so you feel relaxed in front of the lens.
Wardrobe and Styling
You do not need to worry about the outfits. Our client closet in Bhubaneswar is fully stocked with maternity gowns in a range of styles, from ruffled tulle to elegant, form-fitting dresses, designed specifically to highlight your baby bump. For partners, we find that coordinating colors—rather than matching perfectly—creates the most timeless, visually pleasing photos. If you have a specific traditional outfit or a personal garment you cherish, you are welcome to bring it along for a change.
Choosing Your Setting
- Studio Sessions: These offer the most control. We use professional lighting to create mood, whether you want high-fashion glamour or a soft, boho look with pampas grass. It is consistent, weather-proof, and private.
- Outdoor Sessions: If you prefer nature, we suggest local gardens or parks in Bhubaneswar. These sessions are best done in the early morning or late afternoon to take advantage of natural, soft light.
Regardless of the setting, we focus on making the session feel like a date rather than a chore. We help with posing, gown handling, and managing the props, so your only job is to focus on each other and this special chapter you are building together.
