Hand-Painted Murals and Custom Art by Amolika
I used to fix teeth, but now I prefer fixing blank walls. Here is a glimpse of how I turn boring spaces into stories with paint.
This is how I turn a simple acrylic sheet into a burst of colour. I created this vibrant 5x4 feet pop art piece for a dental clinic, designed to bring a huge smile to everyone's face. It's all about using bold, expressive colours to create something unforgettable.
Watch a blank poolside wall in Alibaug transform into a tropical paradise. This video shows the five-day journey of creating a massive mural that blends underwater sea life with lush botanical art, completely changing the vibe of the space.
Here I am with the final astronaut mural for a teaching institute in Mumbai. The goal was to make the space more inspiring for students, and this 8x7 feet cosmic design, complete with planets and science symbols, did just that.
I love getting lost in the details of traditional Indian art. This is a close-up of me painting a musician figure, inspired by the delicate lines of Pichwai and Madhubani styles, for a resort wall in the Konkan region.
Don't throw away old decor. Let me give it a new life. This video shows the before and after of a 4-foot wooden panel that I refurbished with a colourful, intricate boho design, turning it into a unique piece of wall art.
No wall is too tricky, not even a double-height staircase. Here you can see my team and I working on a large beach-themed mural for a client's home, bringing coastal vibes indoors.
From fixing teeth to fixing walls, this has been my journey. This video shares a bit of my story about switching careers from a dentist to a full-time artist, a decision that changed my life for the better.
About Featured
If you have a blank wall or an old wooden panel lying around, we should talk. Whether it is a 250 sq. ft. exterior mural for a commercial space or a smaller interior feature wall for your bedroom, I handle the design, surface prep, and the final painting. I bring all the materials, including scaffolding for high spots, so you just need to pick a theme and let me bring it to life.
How I approach your space
I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all style. My work ranges from traditional Indian art inspired by Pichwai and Madhubani to bold pop-art, geometric patterns, and even space-themed cosmic murals. When we work together, we start with a chat to figure out what you want. I then sketch 1-2 digital mockups superimposed on your wall photo so we are both on the same page before I pick up a brush.
Technical details
For interiors, I use premium indoor emulsions that look great and last. For exteriors, I switch to weather-proof paints that stand up to rain, sun, and even algae. If you have old decor like wooden panels or furniture, I can give those a new life with boho makeovers or intricate mandala detailing.
I am based in Mumbai, but I am a wanderer at heart. I have painted walls across Alibaug, Kokan, Kerala, and beyond. If the job is large, I bring my team along to ensure we finish within the timeline, usually 4-7 days for large projects. I also include a 1-year touch-up warranty against peeling paint for exterior murals, subject to wall conditions.
Why work with me?
This journey from a dentist to an artist was a big shift for me, but it means I approach wall art with a lot of detail and patience. I love the chaos of a live project, whether it is a resort wall in Kokan or a teaching institute in Mumbai. You bring the wall, and I will bring the color.
The Mood Box
I used to fix teeth, but now I would rather fix blank walls. I don't follow one set style—if you want traditional Pichwai or a wild space-themed mural, I am down. Just tell me what story you want your wall to tell, and I will handle the rest.
