About this collection
For this ceremony at Suryagarh, we moved away from standard festive palettes, opting for a monochromatic red bougainvillea theme against the natural desert sandstone. It was not just about the color; it was about creating a visual texture that felt both timeless and deeply tied to the location, providing a striking, dramatic contrast to the couple’s ivory attire.
A New Kind of Ceremony
Planning this wedding was less about sticking to a blueprint and more about honoring the couple's journey. We replaced traditional pheras with poetry readings by close friends and family, transforming the mandap into a space for intimate connection rather than just a stage for rituals. This shift required us to reconsider the entire seating layout, moving from a front-facing audience setup to a tiered, theater-style arrangement that allowed everyone to feel included in the conversation.
Designing for the Desert
Jaisalmer presents its own logistical challenges. Transforming a remote desert property into a functional event space means we have to bring everything with us—from power and water infrastructure to the specific floral installations that survive the heat. We lean into the environment rather than fighting it. By using the existing architecture of the fort as our primary backdrop, we were able to minimize clutter and focus on architectural lighting and floral detailing that felt like an extension of the space itself.
Inclusive and Personal
Our approach is built on understanding that every couple has a unique definition of tradition. Whether it is a same-sex wedding, a destination celebration in India, or a fusion of different cultures, we handle the production details so you can focus on the moment. We manage vendor negotiations, travel logistics, and site infrastructure, ensuring the 'madness' of the planning process stays entirely behind the scenes.
