When we head outdoors, I don't believe in rigid posing. Whether it is a bubble-chasing session or a quiet teepee setup, I work entirely around your child’s energy. If they need a break for a snack or a quick cuddle, we take it. My goal is to capture genuine giggles and curious looks, not forced smiles, so we keep things relaxed and let the golden hour light do the heavy lifting.

Capturing childhood in nature

There is something special about the way children react to the outdoors. Unlike a studio, the park or the beach gives them space to explore, run, and just be themselves. My outdoor kids' portraits are designed to be candid and stress-free. I bring along signature setups, like my sheer fabric teepees and vintage baskets, to create a whimsical vibe, but the real magic happens when your child starts playing.

My approach to outdoor sessions

I usually schedule these shoots during the golden hour—that short window before sunset when the light is soft, warm, and forgiving. It makes everything look dreamy, from the trees in Sanjay Gandhi National Park to the vast expanse of Juhu Beach. If your child is shy, we start with simple props like bubbles or books to help them settle in. If they are bundles of energy, we follow their lead.

Planning your session

• Location: Whether you prefer the greenery of a park or the sand at Versova Beach, I am happy to travel to locations across Mumbai that work for your family.
• Styling: I provide the props—the teepee, blankets, and teddy bears. For outfits, I always recommend neutral, earthy tones that complement the natural backdrop without distracting from your child’s expressions.
• Safety & Comfort: Outdoor shoots with kids are unpredictable. Rain or a cranky toddler? We adapt. We can reschedule if the weather turns, or pause for a snack if that’s what your little one needs. The result is always worth the wait: real photos that feel like your family.
