Kids' Summer Art Camps in Jayanagar
Keep your kids creative and engaged this season at our rooftop studio. Join our 5-day art camp in Jayanagar for a mix of painting, pottery, and mixed-media fun, all designed to let their imagination run wild.
A group of proud young artists showing off their colorful oil pastel drawings from our first art camp of the season. We explored different themes and techniques, and the results were beautiful.
Another shot of the happy campers with their finished paintings. I focus on enjoying the process, and the beautiful art is a wonderful bonus.
Our sunny terrace is the perfect spot for outdoor art activities like this pottery session during our summer camp. The kids loved getting their hands messy with clay.
All smiles from the pottery group! Each child created their own unique piece to take home.
Learning the art of weaving on small looms. This was a new and exciting activity for many of the kids at our art camp, and they did a fantastic job.
A full classroom of kids proudly holding up their finished weavings. It's so rewarding to see them learn a new skill.
A group photo from our mixed-media sculpture day at camp. The kids created amazing coral reef dioramas using a variety of materials.
About this collection
Instead of focusing on a single project, we dive into five distinct art forms over the course of the week. From weaving on mini looms to sculpting coral reef dioramas, my aim is to keep your child’s hands busy and their imagination running wild in a space where messy is encouraged.
At The Firefly Terrace, I have designed our summer camps to be more than just a place to drop off the kids. It is an exploration. Over five days, we switch mediums daily, ensuring that whether your child loves the precision of painting or the tactile feel of pottery, they find something that sparks their interest.
The Typical Camp Flow:
- Days 1-2: Foundation and Focus (Painting and Sketching)
- Days 3-4: Tactile Exploration (Clay, Pottery, and Weaving)
- Day 5: Mixed Media and Celebration (Sculpture and Dioramas)
Why this matters? Kids today spend so much time on screens. Here, in our Jayanagar rooftop studio, the only screen is the sky above. We prioritize the happy mess over the final, perfect result. This lowers the barrier to entry, so even if your child has never held a brush before, they will walk out with confidence.
Logistics and Comfort: I keep group sizes small so I can provide personal guidance, whether it is helping with a tricky decoupage bottle or fixing a clay pot. We provide all materials—from non-toxic paints to raw weaving loom kits—so you do not need to shop for anything. Just bring them over, let them get messy, and pick them up a little more creative than you dropped them off.
The Firefly Terrace
I’m the person behind The Firefly Terrace, where I turn our rooftop into a creative playground. I believe every kid has an artist inside them, and my goal is to give them a space to let that creativity run wild while you enjoy a little peace of mind.
