When I approach a custom design project, my goal is to blend visual impact with daily utility. A washroom is never just a utility space; it is a room where the tile layout, brassware finish, and lighting color must come together to create a calm, serene environment. Similarly, when designing a home bar or a walk-in closet, I look at how the piece interacts with the room's flow.
Take the staircase I designed for a residence in Dehradun. By using floating wooden treads and a glass railing, we created a structure that acts as a focal point without blocking the view or making the room feel heavy. It becomes a floating glass cube that changes impression depending on where you stand.
My process for these custom details is highly collaborative:
