About My Story & Behind The Scenes
When you place an order, I am the one hand-packing every box, usually with a cup of chai and some classic packing tape struggles. It is not just about a crochet bouquet or a plushie reaching you. It is about the handwritten note I add and the specific care I take to make sure your gift arrives as a 'love bomb' rather than just another parcel.
I started Buddy Handmades from a very personal space. Losing Buddy was the hardest thing, and creating these pieces became my way of keeping his spirit alive. It’s not just a business. It’s a way to spread the joy he brought into my life.
My studio is basically a corner of my home where I manage everything—from replying to messages to crocheting the last petal on a bouquet. That is why every piece feels different. Whether it’s a sunflower that won’t wilt or a custom plushie of your pet, I am pouring hours into the details.
I get asked a lot why I chose crochet. Honestly, it’s because it lasts. You don’t have to throw it away like fresh flowers. It stays on your desk or shelf as a reminder of a special moment or a thoughtful gesture.
Since I do everything myself, custom orders take a little time, but that is the best part. You tell me the story—maybe it is a bouquet for a bestie or a tiny plushie that looks like your cat—and I work to bring that memory to life.
