About From Our Studio
When you visit our studio, you’ll notice our pieces aren't factory-perfect. You’ll find slight variations in stone texture or wood grain because each item is genuinely hand-carved in Bali. If you're looking for that rustic, authentic, lived-in feel rather than mass-produced uniformity, you’re in the right place.
There is a specific kind of energy in hand-carved stone. It’s heavy, it’s grounding, and it changes with the light. In our studio at 1MG-Lido Mall, we keep things simple: we display what we find so you can see exactly what you’re getting.
Material Matters
We work primarily with Lavastone and Sandstone. If you are looking for that dark, moody, porous finish, Lavastone is your go-to—it’s solid and perfect for gardens or statement indoor corners. Our Sandstone pieces are smoother, lighter, and often feature the intricate floral or Buddha face carvings we are known for.
Seeing the 'Quirks'
Because these are made by artisans rather than machines, no two statues or planters are identical. A bird bath might have a slight tilt in the rim; a wooden boat shelf might show the grain of the reclaimed timber. We love these small differences because they prove the human hand was involved.
