Since I skip heavy fondant, I use Swiss Meringue Buttercream or chocolate ganache to bring these characters to life. This means your child gets a light, flavorful sponge they actually want to eat, and you do not have to deal with that rubbery layer peeling off at the party.

Kids have the best imaginations, and my job is to translate those vivid ideas into something edible. Whether your little one is obsessed with a specific jungle safari animal, a mythical unicorn, or a beloved character, I focus on capturing those details using piped buttercream or hand-painted accents rather than layers of heavy fondant.

For a kid’s birthday, the cake needs to be eaten, not just looked at. By using Swiss Meringue Buttercream or velvety chocolate ganache, I ensure the sponge stays moist and the flavor profile is consistent throughout. Every cake that leaves my studio is baked from scratch. I do not use premixes or shortcuts because I believe a celebration cake should taste like a treat your family actually enjoys. From the moist vanilla sponges with fresh fruit fillings to rich chocolate-hazelnut layers, the inside is just as important to me as the cute animal topper on the outside.
