About Regal Sherwanis & Festive Kurtas

A great look starts with the fit, not just the embroidery. Whether we’re crafting your main wedding sherwani or a festive kurta, my brother Nikhil and I focus on shoulder structure and waist suppression to give you that sharp, regal silhouette. You aren't just picking an outfit from a rack; we’re sketching it with you to ensure every line works for your frame before we touch a single piece of fabric.

Our Approach to Festive Wear

When you come to The Closet, you aren't just buying clothes. You are getting a look that we build from scratch. Most guys struggle with wedding wear because it’s either too baggy or, worse, stiff and uncomfortable. We fix that.

The Materials & Craft

For our Sherwanis, we work with high-GSM Raw Silk and Italian Brocade to get that heavy, structured fall. I don't believe in heavy, gaudy work that looks cheap. Instead, we use Zardosi, antique gold thread, and Resham embroidery, focusing on the collar, cuffs, and placket. It’s about balance—you want to look royal, not costume-heavy.

Modernizing the Classic

If you want to upgrade your kurta game, think beyond the basics. We do mirror-work, intricate thread embroidery, and even Indo-western fusion pieces that you can pair with tapered trousers or sneakers for a younger vibe. Our festive kurtas are designed to be versatile—you wear them for the Mehendi or a casual festive gathering, and you still feel like the best-dressed guy there.

The Fit Experience

  • Consultation: We start by talking about your vision and body type to pick the right silhouette.
  • Construction: We use full-canvas or fused front construction so the garment stays wrinkle-free and sharp all day.
  • Fittings: We include 2-3 trial sessions. I don't sign off on an outfit until the fit is ekdum perfect.

Whether you are based in our Derawal Nagar or Noida studio, we ensure your ensemble is ready to wear with the right inner kurta, trousers, and accessories like safa and velvet stoles.
