Welcome to Nomad Barber Mumbai. This is where I brought my mentor's global vision to my home city, Khar. It’s more than just a trim—it’s the result of 13 years of grind, right here in the chair.
A little bit about me and what drives me. I've been in the hair industry for over a decade, and opening Nomad Barber Mumbai with my mentor was a dream come true. My goal is to bring international barbering standards and my personal passion to every client.

It was a pleasure to have DJ Sa in the chair for a fresh trim. It's always great to connect with and groom talented artists. We can create any look, whether it's a sharp cut or a complete color change.
It's a surreal feeling to go from reading Professional Beauty magazine for years to being featured in it. This feature was a great moment for me and the Nomad Mumbai team, and it pushes us to keep uplifting the barbering industry in India.
Being selected as a judge for the Modern Barber India Competition is a true honor. It's a testament to the expertise and dedication I bring to my craft, ensuring every client receives a service that meets the highest industry standards.
A lot can change in a year. Celebrating Diwali with my wife and our daughter in front of the shop we built. This journey has been incredible, and I'm so thankful for the support from my family, my mentor, and our clients.
About The Shop: My Journey & Our Space
When we built this shop in Khar, I didn't want just another sterile salon. I wanted a space that felt like home for the boys—whether you're here for a sharp fade or just to hang and catch a vibe, the setup is built for comfort. We've got a window seat for people-watching and the best coffee in the house while you process. It is how I imagine my dad's shop would have evolved if he had the gear and tech we use today.
I’ve been around barbering since I was a kid watching my dad work his magic. Fast forward to 2013, meeting my mentor Miguel changed everything. We took those years of hustle, travel, and hard work to build Nomad Barber Mumbai right here in our backyard.

I am Prathamesh, but most of you know me as The Hair Monster. I have spent over a decade perfecting my craft, from my dad's old shop in Mumbai to launching Nomad Barber with my mentor Miguel. When you sit in my chair, you are not just getting a haircut. You are getting a slice of the journey.
