About Behind the Scenes & In the Community
My teaching philosophy is simple. You learn by doing, not just watching. When my students join me on real client projects or bridal shoots, they are learning how to handle high-pressure environments, manage time, and perfect their technique on diverse skin tones. It is not about theory. It is about being ready for the industry from day one.
The images here are not just photos. They are proof of the 'Passion to Profession' journey I promise my students. Whether it is an editorial shoot in Chennai or a local Buddhist wedding, I drag my students out of the classroom and into the real world. Why? Because you can learn color theory in a book, but you can only learn how to handle a nervous bride or a tight production timeline by being on site.
My role as an academy founder goes beyond demonstrating a cut crease or a glass skin finish. It means mentorship. When you see me judging talent hunts or leading seminar panels, I am there to show my students what the industry looks like at the professional level. I want them to see the standard they need to aim for.
At my studio, we operate on a model of small, semi-private batches. This ensures that every student gets the same feedback I give my own team. We focus on:
- Real-world problem solving: Handling issues like creasing or base oxidation in real-time.
- Teamwork: Learning to coordinate with hair artists, photographers, and other vendors.
- Portfolio development: You do not leave with just a certificate. You leave with a portfolio of work we created together.
