About Workshops & Speaking Engagements
What Drives Me
I’m Vishwanath Mallabadi. For 20+ years, I’ve been obsessed with finding beauty in what most folks throw away. My work is guided by the Kannada saying, Arivininda kriyege - it’s not enough to just understand a problem, you gotta act. I use discarded electronics and e-waste to create art, aiming to spark real action against our throwaway culture.
Workshops: Trash to Treasure
My e-waste art workshops are all about getting your hands dirty and thinking differently. We take old circuit boards, wires, and random parts and turn them into wearable art, eco-jewelry, murals, or even clocks and frames. You’ll learn how to spot beauty in junk, play with patterns and textures, and safely dismantle stuff. These sessions work for students (school, college, design, architecture), corporate teams looking for meaningful team-building, or anyone who’s curious and loves DIY.
Speaking & Interactive Sessions
My upcycling seminars and interactive environmental talks aren’t just lectures. I share my journey, do live demos, and riff on topics like the e-waste crisis, conscious consumerism, and how art connects with tech and sustainability. I’ve spoken at schools, universities, corporates, and big events.
Formats & Collabs
I run short workshops (1-3 days), longer deep-dives, and quick 60-90 minute sessions. For universities, I’m open to mentoring or co-designing courses on sustainable art. Materials? I bring most of what’s needed.
What You Take Home
You’ll walk away with your own creation, a fresh perspective on waste, and maybe even a chance to apprentice or collaborate with me. Once you see what’s possible, you won’t look at an old keyboard the same way again.

My Story
Hi, Vishwanath here. I’m not your regular artist - started as an engineer, got my hands dirty with ham radios, and now I turn old gadgets into art. Dad was a palace sculptor, so I grew up in that creative mess. Kabadi bazaar is my playground. I see stories and rhythm in junk, not just trash. I’m also into music and poetry. Art, for me, is a second life. This is my upcycle journey.
My Work
Eco-Art Installations & Murals - I make big murals and sculptures for offices and homes. Like a 25-foot mural from 3,000 remotes. Custom or ready pieces.
Workshops & Talks - I run hands-on workshops and talks at schools, colleges, and companies. Learn to turn e-waste into art.
Wearable Art & Sustainable Fashion - I team up with designers to create wearable art from e-waste. Style meets sustainability, every piece has a story.
The CyberGanesha Project - I make a unique 3D Ganesha from e-waste once a year. It’s a blend of tech, devotion, and sustainability.
