About In the Media

It is deeply humbling to see the message of upcycling resonate across so many platforms. Every interview, article, and documentary is an opportunity to challenge the status quo and show the world that what we call trash is actually a resource waiting for a second life.

For the past two decades, my mission has been clear: to transform our relationship with the gadgets we discard. Seeing this work featured in publications like The Hindu, Reader's Digest, and The National UAE is not just a personal milestone; it is proof that the conversation around electronic waste is shifting.

Whether it is the 25-foot mural at Orion Mall or the 'Cyber Ganesha' project, these installations serve as anchors for a larger discussion about sustainability. Media coverage has allowed me to share the technical reality behind the art—how I dismantle components, hunt for textures, and reassemble thousands of pieces—with a wider audience.

My goal with these features is always the same: to inspire others to look at their old laptops, remotes, and wires not as junk, but as the building blocks of a circular economy. From documentary spotlights like 'The Upcyclist' to corporate sustainability journals, this visibility helps me reach more students, companies, and fellow artists who want to join the movement of Arivininda kriyege—turning awareness into action.
