About After-School Art Club
We keep our groups small so every child gets hands-on attention. Instead of dry exercises, we dive straight into techniques like oil pastel blending, sketching, and using unique textures. It is an hour of pure focus where school stress melts away, replaced by the satisfaction of finishing a project they can take home.
Our after-school art club is designed for kids ages 5 and up who need a creative outlet. We know school days are long, so our 1-hour sessions are structured to be low-pressure and high-fun. We cover foundational skills like color theory and shading, but we balance that with experimental projects—think mixed media sculptures, tote bag painting, or canvas work.
Every week, we switch up the medium. One day, your child might be mastering the gradient of an oil pastel on cartridge paper, and the next, they are creating a 3D underwater scene using clay, wood, and found objects. We provide all standard stationery, so you do not need to worry about bringing supplies. Our goal is to ensure your child feels safe, seen, and celebrated for their unique perspective. By the end of the month, they will have developed a genuine comfort with various art tools and, more importantly, the confidence to express themselves without worrying about drawing the perfect lines.
