Creative Summer & Holiday Art Camps for Kids

Here's our outdoor setup for a terracotta hand-building session during a sunny summer camp day. Working with clay under the open sky is a fantastic sensory experience, and the kids absolutely love getting their hands dirty to sculpt their ideas.

About Summer & Holiday Art Camps
Our 5-day camps are 12.5 hours of pure creative freedom where we swap screens for sketchbooks. We keep our batches super small, about 1 instructor for every 6 kids, so your child gets real hands-on guidance to build their own dioramas, weave tapestries, or shape terracotta, rather than just copying a standard drawing.
Why Join Our Camps?
We believe that school holidays should be about discovery, not just killing time. Our studio in Jayanagar becomes a playground for imagination, where the only rule is to get creative.
A Different Medium Every Day Boredom simply cannot survive here. We rotate activities to keep excitement levels high:
- Sculpting: We get our hands dirty with clay, teaching basic hand-building techniques like pinch pots and slab construction.
- Weaving: Kids learn to set up a loom and play with textures using different yarn weights and colors.
- Mixed Media: We combine paints with wood, paper, and fabric to create dioramas and wall art that pop.
- Sketching & Color: We cover the fundamentals of oil pastels and color theory in a way that feels like play, not a lecture.
The 'Showcase' Finale We wrap up every 5-day camp with a mini-exhibition. It is the best part of our week. The kids get to stand by their work, explain their process to you, and see their efforts celebrated. It builds so much confidence.
Practical Details
- Small Batches: We strictly limit our intake to 1:6 teacher-student ratio. This ensures every child gets help when they are stuck and encouragement when they are soaring.
- Everything Included: You bring the kid and their energy. We provide the aprons, the paints, the canvases, and the cleanup.
- Age Groups: We tailor our projects to ensure they are challenging but achievable for ages 5 and up.
The Firefly Terrace
We are The Firefly Terrace, a rooftop art sanctuary in Jayanagar. We believe school holidays should be messy, colorful, and fun, so we designed these camps to give kids a space to build, paint, and create without worrying about making mistakes.
