Acting and Public Speaking Classes for Kids in RR Nagar
Watch your child find their voice. I help shy kids build real confidence through drama, expression drills, and structured public speaking practice.
I'm teaching the kids to observe and use facial expressions. We focus on the eyes, eyebrows, and smile to convey emotions without words.
A deep dive into acting theory. I explain how to get into character and use personal memories to bring emotions like *Shringara* (love) or *Karuna* (sadness) to life.
This student is practicing her public speaking skills by reading a passage aloud in front of the class, building her confidence.
We were honored to have Smruti Padaki lead a session. Here, she is guiding a student through a reading exercise.
A lesson on stage presence. I teach the kids how to stand confidently and use their body language effectively before they even say a word.
I'm instructing the students on how to interact naturally in a group scene, using non-verbal cues and active listening.
An exercise in communication skills and body language. The kids are learning to express themselves and interact with each other non-verbally.
Even a simple crossed-arms pose can show character. I teach them how to use their body to communicate different attitudes.
About From Shy to Shining: Acting and Public Speaking
In my sessions, we do not just memorize scripts. We focus on the Navarasas to understand emotions and use consistent mic time to turn nervous energy into stage presence. You will see them learn to hold eye contact, stand tall, and speak clearly, whether they are five or fifteen.
Many parents ask me, 'Master, how do I make my child stop being so quiet?' The answer is not in a textbook. It is in the way they hold their body and how they look at the person they are talking to. My acting and public speaking modules are designed to bridge that gap between thought and expression.
We start with the basics of non-verbal communication. I teach students to stand with their legs apart, relax their shoulders, and use their hands while talking. This reduces the stiffness that usually makes a child look nervous. We then move into the Navarasas. By practicing emotions like surprise, love, or sorrow, students learn that their face is a tool. This makes them more empathetic and expressive in real conversations.
Then, there is the mic work. Every kid gets dedicated time on the microphone. It is not about perfect English or Kannada; it is about the courage to hold the mic and finish a sentence without hiding. We practice role-playing, where they learn to introduce themselves, greet elders properly, and even handle a group discussion.
This is not a theatre academy for future stars. This is a life skills class for regular kids. We build character here. By the time a student completes our program, they know how to walk into a room and command attention through simple, honest body language.
