The Podcast Voice: Mastering Expression and Confidence
Help your child find their authentic voice through drama, storytelling, and interactive games. We don't do scripts; we build the courage to speak up.
TEDx speaker Deepti Tomar Seth, my collaborator, explains the vision behind "The Podcast Voice." It's not about performance but about finding your authentic self through drama-inspired games, stories, and stage tools.
Deepti demonstrates the power of expression and body language. She shows the children how your energy and tone can completely change the message, making the difference between a flat statement and an exciting invitation.
Here, I am explaining the concept of voice modulation to our young podcasters. We explore how to use a loud voice for a jungle, a whisper for a cave, and a high-pitched echo for a mountain, making storytelling dynamic and engaging.
We use tools like the "Emotions Wheel" to help children identify and express a wide range of feelings. In this session, we practice enacting emotions with our entire body, from our eyebrows to our posture.
Can you read someone's face and body language? Our students learn to decode non-verbal cues by playing interactive games where they guess emotions like 'frustrated', 'nervous', and 'surprised' through gestures and expressions.
Every child has an invisible cape, a superpower within them. In this activity, we help our students find their inner strength and confidence, learning to use their voice to become the hero of their own story.
The first session of our Podcast Course is live. Here, students are beginning their journey of learning how to speak with emotion and expression, using feeling charts to guide their practice.
A glimpse into our "Podcast Voice" session, where children are gathered on the floor, fully engaged in an activity. This is where they learn to explore their expressions and find the confidence to let their voice shine.
Announcing our exciting new program, "The Podcast Voice." This course is designed to unlock a child's potential by teaching them powerful communication skills for a lifetime of confidence.
About The Podcast Voice: Mastering Expression
We don't use scripts or rote drills. Your child will work with hands-on tools like our 'Emotions Wheel' and dynamic microphones to explore how a whisper, a shout, or a simple pause changes the entire meaning of a story. It is about building the courage to speak up, whether they are naturally shy or just need a push to be heard.
Communication Beyond the Classroom
At Nidhi’s Learning Institute, we believe the ability to express oneself is a life skill, not just a performance trick. Co-facilitated by TEDx speaker Deepti Tomar Seth, 'The Podcast Voice' moves beyond standard public speaking classes in Delhi NCR to focus on the 'why' and 'how' of communication.
The NLI Approach: Presence Over Perfection
We embrace a philosophy of Wabi-Sabi—finding beauty in imperfection. We don't expect kids to get every idiom or posture correct on day one. We start with basics: voice modulation for a 'jungle' versus a 'mountain', and body language that communicates confidence before a child even says a word.
Our program covers:
- Emotional Intelligence: Identifying feelings with our 'Emotions Wheel' to help kids speak with genuine emotion rather than reciting lines.
- Technical Skills: Using dynamic microphones and smartphone recording to build comfort with technology and self-analysis.
- Real-World Scenarios: Mock interviews, anchoring practice, and podcast-style storytelling that prepares them for social interactions beyond school.
Why Parents Choose Us
We keep batch sizes small (6-10 students) to ensure every child gets personal attention. Whether your child is attending our sessions at our Rajouri Garden center or joining us online, they are in a pressure-free environment designed to turn shy whispers into bold ideas. If you are looking to help your child find their 'awaaz' and build lifelong confidence, we are here to walk that journey with them.
Nidhi Longani
I'm Nidhi. I believe kids aren't projects to be perfected; they are stories waiting to be told. At my institute, we don't force them into rigid molds, but instead give them the space to find their own 'awaaz' through play and honest presence.
