About Stylish Flooring & Wall Finishes
One thing to keep in mind for our Delhi summers and monsoons is durability. We usually recommend WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) for wall cladding and decking because it handles the weather much better than natural wood, which tends to warp or rot over time. It gives you that rich, natural look without the headache of constant polishing or seasonal maintenance.
When we work on flooring and walls, our goal is to eliminate the 'bland balcony' look while keeping installation hassle-free. Most of our floor and wall projects are dry installations, meaning we don't need to break floors or carry out heavy civil work at your site.
Why we prefer specific materials
- WPC vs. Natural Wood: While natural teak looks lovely, it requires high maintenance in an open terrace. We use WPC for its resistance to water and termites. It keeps its finish for years, which is essential for Delhi's weather.
- Artificial Grass: We stick to 35mm high-density turf. It has a realistic dual-tone finish that doesn't look plastic, and it drains water efficiently so you don't deal with stagnant puddles after a heavy rain.
- Wall Finishes: Plain parapet walls can feel very closed in. Using WPC louvers or textured stone cladding adds visual depth. It breaks the monotony and allows us to integrate things like hidden LED strip lights, which makes the space feel bigger and more premium at night.
Creating zones with flooring
You don't have to cover your entire floor with one material. We often mix zones: using interlocking WPC tiles for a lounge area and artificial grass for a path or kids' play area. This contrast helps define the space, making a small balcony feel like a multi-functional room.
