For me, accompanying a vocalist is about creating a seamless musical conversation. I focus on providing rhythmic support that enhances the singer's expression, whether it's for a khayal, thumri, or a devotional bhajan.
Jugalbandi: Rhythmic Dialogues
Jugalbandi, or a duet between musicians, is one of the most exciting parts of a performance. Here you'll see me in rhythmic conversations with other percussionists on instruments like the Pakhawaj and Mridangam, creating an energetic and spontaneous musical experience.
Devotional & Spiritual Music
Music is my meditation, and I feel a deep connection when playing for spiritual and devotional events. This includes performances at temples, for religious festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, and playing abhangs and bhajans that are close to my heart.
On Tour: Performances & Travels
Mumbai is home, but my music takes me to many places. This collection features moments from my tours across India and abroad, including performances in the UK and USA, and at prestigious festivals in cities like Punjab, Kerala, and Indore.
