About Dance Competition Judging
Why We Judge
For us, judging a dance competition is about catching that spark on stage. We love the rush when the music starts and the crowd gets hyped. It's not just about pointing out mistakes - it's about celebrating guts, creativity, and all the hard work dancers put in.
How We Judge
We keep things real and positive. Our feedback is always meant to help dancers grow, not just to score them. We look for:
- Choreography that stands out
- Energy and josh (passion) that makes us say, "kya baat hai!" (wow, amazing!)
- How everything comes together - costumes, song, expressions, and overall impact
We use a structured approach for dance performance evaluation, but we also trust our instincts. If a performance gives us goosebumps, that's what matters.
Our Style
We're not the judges who just sit quietly. You'll see us on the mic, cheering, sometimes even on stage. We believe the vibe of the event is everything. We judge school and college fests, corporate dance-offs, and community festivals. Usually, it's me (Yashika) and Percy, but sometimes just one of us, depending on the event.
What to Expect
We bring our full energy, honest judging criteria for dance competitions, and a lot of encouragement. We know what it takes to perform, and we respect every dancer who gets on stage.

My Story
Hi, I’m Yashika Bhist, founder of Natarani. We’re a bunch of dancers from Mumbai who feel more like family than a team. Dance is our way to connect, not just burn calories. Seen so many 'non-dancers' become stars on stage! Our sessions start with nervous laughs, end with wild stories, late-night practice, and proper dosti (friendship). For us, dance is pure celebration and connection.
My Work
All Kinds of Dance Services - We do Bollywood wedding choreography, sangeet, first dance, corporate shows, college events, flashmobs, and even judge competitions.
