Our role often goes beyond just choreography. For this sangeet, we also managed and coordinated the event, which even featured a performance by the amazing singer Shaan.
About Behind the Scenes & Event Management
It is one thing to teach dance steps in a studio, but handling a live wedding or corporate event is a completely different ball game. We do not just stand on the sidelines; we are there coordinating entry cues, managing the transition between the DJ and our audio tracks, and making sure your non-dancing family members actually feel confident when the lights go up. We treat the logistics as seriously as the choreography itself.
Most people only see the final performance, but the work starts long before the music hits the speakers. In our 8 years as a team, we have learned that a smooth sangeet or annual day is 50% choreography and 50% stage management.
When we take on an event, we step into the role of event coordinators. This means we are the ones sitting with the DJ to ensure the beat-drops are synced with your entry, checking that the lighting cues match the energy of the routine, and keeping the backstage area organized so no one panics before their turn. If you have a live singer or a complex medley, we manage the timing so you never have to worry about a gap in the music.
For family members who have never danced, the stage can be intimidating. We help them get past that by running dress rehearsals on the actual venue floor. This way, they get familiar with the space, the exits, and the flow of the event before the guests arrive. We have managed events across Delhi NCR, from intimate home gatherings to large corporate stages, and we know exactly where things usually go wrong—and how to fix them before they happen.
