About Behind the Scenes & My Process
Before you book, it is important to know that I prioritize your baby's comfort above all else. I schedule newborn sessions when your baby is between 10 and 20 days old because that is when they are naturally sleepiest and easiest to pose safely. You will see me use constant, gentle contact, fully sanitized props, and plenty of patience to ensure your little one stays calm, cozy, and secure throughout our time together.
Photography is not just about holding a camera. It is about the environment I create. Whether I am swaddling a baby for a traditional look or setting up a cultural theme like a miniature fort for a Shivaji Maharaj shoot, my Dronagiri studio is designed to be a warm, quiet sanctuary for your family.
The Reality of a Session
When you come into my studio, you will notice that things move slowly. I never rush a baby. If your little one needs a feed, a diaper change, or just a cuddle to settle down, we pause. This is why I allocate several hours for newborn sessions. You are not just paying for a few photos; you are paying for the time it takes to get that perfect, peaceful expression without causing any stress.
Why Process Matters
- Safety First: I specialize in wrapped poses, which keep the baby snug and secure. Unwrapped, complex poses are only attempted if the baby is deeply asleep and comfortable.
- Sanitization: Every wrap, headband, and basket is cleaned and sanitized before your session.
- Family Participation: My process isn't just for the baby. I love capturing the unfiltered, emotional reactions of parents watching their little one. It is these raw moments of joy—the tears, the smiles, and the awe—that truly make the story complete.
