Fading Coloured Tattoos using Laser Removal

Removing coloured ink, especially reds and pinks, requires a different approach than black ink. I use high-intensity laser technology at my Dadar studio to fade these stubborn pigments safely over multiple sessions.

This tattoo had both black script and a red heart. You can see in the after photo that while the black ink is gone, a faint trace of the red pigment remains, which is typical for red ink removal.

A red lipstick kiss tattoo on the neck. The after photo shows the red ink has been completely removed, which is a great result for this type of pigment.

This was an older, faded tattoo with traces of black, blue, and red ink. The after photo shows the skin is much clearer and the tattoo is almost entirely gone.

About Fading Coloured Tattoos

Removing red or pink ink is not the same as fading standard black lines. These colours are stubborn, and I always tell my clients honestly that it takes more time and multiple sessions to see a clean result. You need to be patient with the process, but I use a strong Q-Switched laser to get the ink out as safely as possible.
