About Meet the Instructors & The Tribe
When you see us on stage, you’re seeing the result of hours of our signature 'tadka' or spice. But look closer at our rehearsal footage and you’ll see the real stuff: instructors like Gauri and Anusha cracking jokes mid-shimmy, intense focus during fusion prep, and the genuine support system we’ve spent 19 years building.
We are Deepthi and Anusha, and for nearly two decades, Tarantismo has been more than a company. It has been our tribe. Whether you are looking at our pro team in Bangalore or joining an online workshop, you are meeting instructors who believe that belly dance is not about being perfect. It is about feeling good, having a blast, and finding a space where you can let loose.
Our team, from our founders to leads like Gauri, brings a mix of Bollywood, Indian Classical, and traditional belly dance fusion to every session. We have seen the magic that happens when absolute beginners step into the studio feeling nervous, only to walk out with a huge grin. We do not just teach steps. We share the backstage hustle, the costume fixes, and the Friday rehearsals that turn into full-blown parties.
