We don't expect you to be a pro before you step out under the lights. Our performance opportunities focus on building confidence and stage presence, whether you are dancing at an informal studio 'hafla' or a full-scale annual showcase like Inspire or Eunoia.
The journey from the classroom to the spotlight is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Tarantismo. We believe that performing shouldn't be intimidating, so we have built a tiered system of opportunities to suit every comfort level.
It starts with our cozy 'hafla' nights. These are warm, informal gatherings at our studios in Indiranagar and Whitefield, where students, friends, and family come together to celebrate. There is no pressure here; it is simply a space to wear your favourite hip scarf, share a routine you have been working on, and soak in the supportive energy of our tribe. It is the perfect training ground for anyone new to performing.
When you are ready for bigger stages, we have our annual showcases. These events are opportunities to collaborate with our pro-team members, wear professional costumes, and experience the rush of performing for a live audience. We handle everything from the choreography to the rehearsals, ensuring you feel prepared and excited.
Whether you are a beginner learning your first fusion routine or a long-time student looking to master complex layering or Raqs Al Assaya for a festival, we create paths for you to perform. We have seen students start their journey online from home and eventually command the stage with solo performances. It is all about the growth, the community, and the sheer joy of the shimmy.
