Sitter Sessions: Capturing Your Baby's Milestone

Sitter sessions celebrate that special stage where your little one starts sitting up independently. Whether they are just beginning to crawl or exploring through curious babbles, this is a fleeting transition worth documenting. In my Sarjapur studio, I use a range of props like vintage wicker prams and textured, earthy backdrops to keep the focus on your baby's developing personality.

We usually plan for 3 to 4 hours in the studio. This isn't because the photography takes that long, but because babies need time to settle in, feed, or nap if they get fussy. You have full access to my 'Client Closet' with knitted outfits and costumes, so you don't need to worry about bringing wardrobe pieces.

One of the things parents appreciate most is that you get all the unedited raw files along with your retouched images. You aren't just paying for the final portraits; you are keeping every single moment captured during the session. If you want to include family members in some of the shots, that is always welcome too. My approach is to create a relaxed, safe space for your baby, ensuring we capture natural milestones like their first wobbly sit or a joyful laugh, rather than stiff, forced posing.
